Our Story
The Pleased Group is a locally owned hospitality company proudly based in Plymouth, Indiana. Our journey began with the acquisition of Kingpin Lanes, formerly known as Quick’s Lanes — a long-standing bowling destination deeply rooted in the community.
Recognizing the opportunity to build upon that tradition, we invested in preserving its legacy while modernizing the experience for future generations. That first step laid the foundation for what would become a growing group of food, entertainment, and hospitality businesses dedicated to serving Plymouth.
As our vision expanded, we acquired Milas Taqueria & Cantina, bringing authentic Mexican cuisine and a vibrant dining atmosphere into our portfolio. In 2025, we continued our growth by opening Mimi’s Cafe and launching Kingpin Corner — expanding our ability to serve families, events, and community gatherings in new and exciting ways.
Today, The Pleased Group operates multiple destinations, each unique in concept but united by one shared purpose: creating welcoming spaces where people come together.
Our Growth Timeline
September 2023 – Acquisition of Kingpin Lanes
Formerly known as Quick’s Lanes, this long-standing Plymouth bowling center became the foundation of The Pleased Group and marked the beginning of our growth in hospitality and entertainment.
April 2024 – Acquisition of Milas Taqueria & Cantina
We expanded into the restaurant industry by bringing authentic Mexican cuisine and a vibrant dining experience into our portfolio.
April 2025 – Opening of Mimi’s Cafe
Mimi’s Cafe was launched to provide a welcoming space for breakfast and lunch, offering comfort food and a community-focused atmosphere.
July 2025 – Launch of Kingpin Corner
Kingpin Corner opened as a bar-focused destination, offering a lively atmosphere, drinks, and social entertainment designed for adults, gatherings, and nights out.
